RE: That popping noise you are hearing…

I have heard from Ms. Ditto regarding Christmas concerts, etc. She says she doesn’t have much original information to offer. It’s the same old same old holiday cookies and Winterbreak in her school and she doesn’t know what songs the choir sings. Some day she would like to take a course in school law – maybe the next time she needs to renew her teaching certificate – so that she would know what the law requires and what is just policy dictated by fears of a lawsuit.

ISSUE TWO: She told me to post this regarding Barack Obama’s comments to a high school class about his drug history:

“In my experience with teenagers, what they will take from his remarks boils down to ‘HEY KIDS, MAKE ANY DUMB CHOICES YOU WANT WHEN YOU ARE YOUNG. IT WON’T AFFECT YOUR FUTURE. HECK, YOU CAN EVEN RUN FOR PRESIDENT IF YOU WANT TO.’
