One for the "Duh" File

One of our local network news stations featured a new AP poll that says 80% of Americans are against Iowa having the first in the nation caucus. Or, as they described it, "Only 1 in 5 Americans support Iowa being first."

And while the linked story doesn't contain a reference to it, I swear that the 6:00 news anchor said that part of the poll showed that most Americans wish their state went first instead.

Well there's a stunner.

Given that Iowa has less than 1% of the nation's population, I surprised that the poll results aren't something more like 98+% of Americans wanting to give us the boot.
